Clayton, a trained tree risk assessor with over 20 years of experience in visual tree assessment (VTA). Clayton is trained in interpreting the art of tree body language to identify potential risks and hazards in trees. He is also trained in the use of current decay detection tools such as micro resistance drill and sonic tomography for advanced tree assessment to detect internal structural anomalies.

Our Services
-
Visual Tree Assessment (VTA-Method) – Our arborist provides VTA to detect and understand external symptoms of internal defects on trees. This assessment method allows us to identify potential risks and hazards in trees and develop effective management plans to mitigate these risks.
-
Advanced Tree Assessment – We use sophisticated diagnostic tools such as resistance drill/acoustic tomography to detect and quantify wood decay and other internal tree defects. This allows us to provide a more detailed and accurate assessment of a tree’s health and safety, which is essential for effective tree management.
- Arboricultural Impact Assessment – Our Arborist thoroughly studies the potential impact with the proposed design and determines the feasibility of retaining the worthy tree. The assessment includes recommendations for protection measures (i.e., Tree Protection Zone) and other measures related to the retained tree.
-
Tree Monitoring Service – We provide tree monitoring services during construction to ensure that the trees are protected from damage during construction.
-
Aerial Tree Assessment – We provide aerial tree assessment by using manual rope access or aerial lift devices. This assessment method allows us to access trees that are difficult to reach and provide a more comprehensive assessment of their health and safety.
